  Extremely poor service and snooty attitude of floor personnel. Brought my watch in for a new battery. Salesperson talked me into a full service of the watch. Two weekis later I called to find out if the watch was ready. No, but "he'll call you about it tomorrow" I was told. No one called for another week. I then went in to retrieve the watch to take it elsewhere, and was told that it had been ready for three days. I asked why I hadn't been called to tell me it was ready. I was told that someone had called me about it, but no record on my cell phone that any such call had been made. I was charged $50.00. A week later I noticed that the watch was losing time rapidly and the second hand was stalling frequently. I took it back to Royal and suggested that they forgot to give me the new battery that I had requested. The clerk argued with me that that was unlikely. He suggested I leave it again to have it checked out. The watch repairman was right there but wouldn't look at it then. I asked when I could expect to hear from them about the watch and was told maybe next week. I grabbed my watch back and walked out, never to return. I immediately took it to a watch shop where they confirmed that the battery was shot, and I had a new battery installed in 10 minutes. Watch runs fine.
